Need an antidote to self-criticism?

Joy

We’re talking about something serious today – self-criticism.

This thing erodes self-worth, crushes joy, and in short, it sucks.

But still, most of us deal with it on a fairly regular (if not daily) basis. Do you fall in that category?

Why are we so mean to ourselves? Because it’s what we learnt, we weren’t taught any different, we’ve got low self-esteem, we don’t know how to do it any differently.

Which is exactly what we’re going to talk about today, how to do it differently.

Because this being mean to yourself has got to stop.

Joy, prosperity, happiness, peace, love, laughter – none of them can flourish when you’re putting yourself down.

So, today I’m going to talk about the one key thing I have cultivated to tackle my self-criticism tendencies.

It’s this thing called self-compassion.

But what the heck is that? I have always found this word a strange one to relate to because it’s just not concrete enough to me. What does it mean? What does it look like practically?

Well, that is what I share in today’s video.

If you want to find out my 3 top tips for cultivating self-compassion (simple, practical stuff), then take 7 minutes to watch the video below.

After you’ve listened in, share below the one tip you’re going to use for your own self-compassion practice or share something I didn’t mention that really works for you.

Enjoy.
